Abstract

【課題】 ベクトル変調信号を、振幅信号と位相信号に分離し、再度結合を行なうEER歪補償装置において、歪特性の優れた歪補償装置及びその方法を提供する。 【解決手段】ベクトル変調信号を、振幅信号と位相信号に分離し、再度結合を行なうEER変調増幅方式における歪補償装置において、振幅補正部100が電力増幅器58の振幅変調出力信号の歪み成分を算出して補正し、位相誤差算出部102が電力増幅器58の位相変調出力信号の誤差成分を算出し、位相補正部103が補正された振幅成分より位相回転量を算出し、更にその位相回転量および位相誤差算出部102で算出された位相誤差成分より電力増幅器58の位相変調出力信号の歪み成分を算出して補正することで、高精度の歪み補償処理が可能となる。 【選択図】図1
<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a distortion-compensating device that is superior in distortion characteristics and a method thereof in an EER distortion compensating device for separating a vector modulation signal into an amplitude signal and a phase signal, and recombining the separated signals. <P>SOLUTION: The distortion compensating device of an EER distortion modulation amplifying system separates the vector modulation signal into amplitude signal and phase signal, and recombining the separated signals. In the device, an amplitude-correcting section 100 calculates the distortion components of an amplitude modulation output signal of a power amplifier 58 and corrects the components, a phase error calculating section 102 calculates an error component of a phase modulation output signal of the power amplifier 58, a phase correcting section 103 calculates the phase rotation amount from the corrected amplitude component and further calculates the distortion components of the phase modulation output signal of the power amplifier 58 from the phase rotation amount and the phase error components calculated by the section 102.
